Villamas Metacity participates in bowling tournament for CSR initiative

Special Olympics Selangor’s intellectually disabled (ID) athletes

Putrajaya, August 2019 – A Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event was held recently by Villamas Metacity where the Group’s Directors and personnel participated in the Special Olympics Selangor’s bowling tournament with 100 intellectually disabled (ID) athletes. Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister YB Hannah Yeoh was also present at the tournament in Wangsa Bowl at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.

Also in attendance were the Chief Executive Officer of Villamas Group, Gan Teck Seong and the President of Special Olympics Selangor, Patricia Wong. In her speech, Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister YB Hannah Yeoh thanked Villamas Metacity in her speech and encouraged organisations to continue to play an important role in supporting worthy causes which help disadvantaged members of the community to assimilate with society more comfortably.

To make the overall event more memorable, cheques were presented to Persatuan Kelab Kiwanis Uptown, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rasa Sayang Selangor and also to Special Olympics Selangor (SOS).
